The schematics and code for the player control have been updated and uploaded to the devices page. Currently, we are in the process of building, testing, and debugging the player control code and device. There are some conflicts between the IRRemote and VirtualWire libraries that need to be resolved.
In addition to the original player control device, a new class of player control device has been created. The caster class has only an RF transmitter, and players "cast" their attacks through the RF transmitter by performing certain motions which are detected with a potentiometer and an accelerometer. The code and schematic for the caster class player control device can be seen in devices.
We are also in the process of creating several trap devices. A trap that is triggered by breaking a wire (e.g. tripping a wire) and that causes an RF transmitter to emit a signal that will deal damage to the player who triggered the trap has been constructed and tested, and the schematic will be uploaded within the week.
